Union Lodge No. 48 is located at the corner of North & High Streets in the center of Elkton, Maryland. 

Elkton is located in Cecil County which is in the northeastern corner of Maryland only 1 mile from the Delaware border and about 8 miles from the Pennsylvania border. 

New York City, NY is only 135 miles to the north and Baltimore, MD is only about 55 miles to the west which makes our central location very appealing with the John F. Kennedy Memorial Highway (I-95) only about a mile to the north of the town. 

There are now only two lodges in Cecil County since  Cecil Lodge No. 125 in Chesapeake City, Maryland has surrendered their Charter to the Grand Lodge and has merged with Union Lodge No. 48 as of February 14th of 2008.  The other remaining lodge is Harmony Lodge No. 53 in Port Deposit, Maryland
